Dear progressive friends,
Thank you to all my customers for using my products to promote our most important civil right to dissent by annoying people with buttons and bumper stickers.
Yes, freedom of speech makes people uncomfortable and I am okay with that because it also makes them think. They have to think about why they are annoyed and that does more to inform them than 10 hours of watching Fox News.
My favorite retort to annoyed folks is "If you are not angry, you are not paying attention." The right and more importantly the "obligation" to dissent when our government is wrong is what makes us free. Use it or loose it.
I am taking a break from politics this summer, but I am sure to be back.
